Reno, NV. — Started only two short years ago by (at the time) the countries youngest brewery owner/brewmaster, Ryan Gaumer and his team at Lead Dog Brewing Company took home the coveted Gold medal at the annual Bistro IPA/Hazy IPA festival in Hayward, CA with their newest North-East Style IPA “Saturday’s are for the Brews.”
The first quarter of 2019 has turned out to be an impressive few months for Lead Dog, raking in numerous medals at a handful of international and domestic beer competitions. “We are excited to see where we take this brewery in the coming years, we are still learning and do indeed, learn something new every day regarding the quality of our beer.” – Ryan Gaumer, Owner/Brewmaster
Lead Dog will be opening their new Taproom and Production brewery in Sparks, NV at the end of May / Early June of 2019. This brewery was built to produce around 20,000 barrels. “We want to grow organically, we have no investors and do not want to pump in tons of money to create a hazardous business situation.” -Ryan Gaumer
